Cheetara: there's a new strar trek coming out!!!!!!!!!!! I'm very excited me: ah. nemesis. Cheetara: and the bond reviews are trashing the movie me: ah. too bad. Cheetara: but lots o' movies to see, bond, nemesis, lotr me: I didn't have high hopes for License to Merchandise, anyway. Cheetara: hahaha Cheetara: hos goes the move to san fran? me: ah. no real progress to report. i'm thinking about going out for Feb-March, maybe, working from Jupiter's office there, staying with my uncle. Just to see what it might be like Cheetara: you'd be allowed to do that? me: oh sure. We do have an office there. It'd just be a matter of working from there instead of here. I've done it before, for like 1-2 weeks. Cheetara: ok me: how are you? me: are you coming back to NY for thanksgiving? Cheetara: no, actually, I'm not Cheetara: I'm ok Cheetara: other than having an overwhelming desire/need to party Cheetara: what are you doing for thanksgiving? me: my friends l. and i. are having people over for dinner. Cheetara: and you are invited I take it me: no other real plans. maybe i'll go see the parade, weather depending. me: no, but they said I could call them and they'd describe the food to me. Cheetara: I really feel like seeing the parade Cheetara: you know what Cheetara: I usually don't care about the parade me: well, it'll be on tv me: is there something special going on this year? Cheetara: but since I can't actually go out and see it, no w I care Cheetara: no me: oh Cheetara: my parents are coming up Cheetara: and on the saturday I have lb's wedding me: ah. that sounds nice Cheetara: yeah ... personally not that thrilled aobut it me: which, the thanksgiving or the wedding? me: or both? Cheetara: the wedding Cheetara: thanksgiving is pretty much a non-event in my life Cheetara: so I am never thrilled about it so I'm never not thrilled about it me: I see. Cheetara: I see my comments are thrilling you me: Went to a Fletcher happy hour last night. Cheetara: how was that me: P's "ideas about the website" basically revolve around "more content." I was like, you get stuff to me, I'll post it. It's not so hard. Oh, and we're going to sign up for a paypal account, so folks can pay their membership via credit card. That does make a lot of sense to me. Cheetara: that does to me as well me: L. was there; we had a conversation about whether it was better to BE a wacky friend or to HAVE a wacky friend. I enjoyed the irony of her characterizing YOU as a wacky friend due to your hijinks. Cheetara: I'm the wacky friend? Cheetara: Oh I love this one Cheetara: and my hijinks are nothing compared to what they used to be me: thought you'd appreciate it. me: yeah, i told her i thought law school was mellowing you. Cheetara: a friend of mine was reminding me the other night of the stuff I USED to get up to Cheetara: fuck, even in NY I wasn't up to crazy stuff Cheetara: you should have known me from 22-24 ... then I'd get up to all sorts of no good Cheetara: law school is not mellowing me ...age and lack of opportunity is mellowing me Cheetara: What hijinks do you think she was referring to? Cheetara: ha Cheetara: I love this Cheetara: I'm the wacky frined me: i dunno, going out with Dan Cortese might count as a jink. Cheetara: wow Cheetara: yeah Cheetara: and the whole meeting patrick fabian in line for a bathroom Cheetara: ok ... yeah I do have hijinks Cheetara: that makes me happy :-) Cheetara: yay!!!!!! Cheetara: oh well, I have to go print out my 5th amendment paper and go read some contracts Cheetara: arguing with joey from the cast of friends me: what? me: you had an argument with Matt LeBlanc? me: I've not heard this story Cheetara: not arguing ... exactly ... but we didn't get along Cheetara: saw him at a bar me: Is he as dumb as Joey? Cheetara: and I said "well, that's only becasue you were looking at me as well" me: oh boy Cheetara: then he said his name was Matt Cheetara: and I said I knew Cheetara: and he said "oh so you've seen the show" me: that's not very flirtatious, depending on tone of voice Cheetara: and I said "what show" me: "seen the show." me: like, you've not been living in a cave the last 6 years. Cheetara: more stuff like that Cheetara: that was the general tone me: ah. so you didn't really hit it off. me: but you spoke Cheetara: and I was standing there at one point, and he was like "what you are still standing here? Cheetara: it was lovely really Cheetara: jennifer anniston and courtney cox were really nice, though me: o.O me: you're making that part up. Cheetara: nope me: THE CAST OF FRIENDS was at a bar? Cheetara: no ... lisa kudrow and dave schwimmer weren't there me: nor Matthew Perry. Cheetara: he was there me: 50% of the friends were there though? Cheetara: he was a jerk too me: 2/3 of the cast of friends? Cheetara: yes me: you've met 2/3 of the cast of friends/ me: when??? Cheetara: yep me: why didn't i know about this? Cheetara: geez ... mayish? Cheetara: it was embarassing me: That's quite a story. Cheetara: usually I hit it off so well with celebs ... case in point dan cortese me: were they mobbed by people? what bar was it? me: why on earth would they go out to a bar together? Cheetara: four seasons ... naw not many people were talking to them Cheetara: I saw dennis leary the other night, but I didn't talk to him Cheetara: tired of these people being mean to me Cheetara: joey ruined it for everyone Cheetara: and I even refrained from saying "how you doin'?"
